Bee Bouquet Recycling Tips
Updated: Oct 15, 2021
We are as passionate about recycling as we are about bees -- it goes hand in hand when caring for our planet and the finite resources we have on it. Unfortunately, only around 30% of glass containers are recycled in the U.S and this is predominantly clear, green, and amber colored glass and jars. Our Bee Bouquet votives are painted glass and cannot be recycled curbside (check with your local municipality to see if they have any exceptions).
That's why we want to make have some recycling tips.
Here are some fun ways to reuse your votive in your home and garden:
1. Use the Bee Bouquet flower paper to grow some flowers for the bees and other pollinators. Place in your backyard or somewhere creative you can attract bees 🐝
2. Plant and grow a succulent in your vessel and place in your windowsill or by a window in your home
3. Place it on your desk and use as a pencil or pen holder
4. Use as a toothbrush holder in your bathroom
